There
was nothing a Victorian Lady enjoyed more than attending her
sewing circle regardless of whether it was held in elegant surroundings
or in a Village Hall. The attraction was not just to sew or
exchange sewing patterns or learn new sewing techniques and
of course to exchange tales of assignations and romance. This
was also a time to show recently purchased items such as Scissors
,Pincushions , Needle Cases , Thimble Cages , Sewing Compendiums
and Chatelaines of every description.
We
have an interesting and useful range of Needlework tools. Some
are traditional in design and date back several hundred years
and some are from the last 20 years but with a Victorian flavor.
Our
products are designed by us and can be found in many Needlework
shops around the world and also at Victoria and Albert Museum
in London, the Royal School of Needlework and The Embroiderers
Guild at Hampton Court Palace.
Our
products are unique and desirable. They make excellent and beautiful
gifts for the needle worker and can be considered as “tomorrow’s
heirloom”.
vendent bien.
